Spring into the Week

This little pretty was found, along with a number of other letters and postcards and other things that got trashed thanks to termites and to much age, had a bit of termite damage but thanks to a high resolution ability of the scanner and phothoshop it looks good at new!

The cancellation stamp shows that it was mailed July 6th in the 5pm post. The date never took but I can tell it would have been before May 1928 because there was newspaper lining the wicker suite case it was stored away in.

The top portion you likely can't read, unless you have eyes like a hawk on steroids, says "Flower bordered walks and drives. Showing eucalyptus trees. Edysian Park. Los Angels, Cal."
The back has the same description on the back along with "A beautiful spot overlooking the city, containing about 548 acres, which still in its natural state of trees, underbrush and interesting trails, affords one of the most interesting drives for the autoist winding through out the hills, overlooking the surrounding country."
Along the side "Published by Western Publishing Novelty Co, Los Angeles, CAL.
